Ingredients:

• 15 ml – Oil
• 1 – large Onion sliced
• 3 – Garlic crushed
• 10 ml – ground coriander
• 1/2 tsp – Chilli powder
• Ground Cardamom
• Ground Cloves
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – ground Cumin
• 1 tbsp – ground Turmeric
• 2 tbsp – Flour
• 1 tbsp – Tomato Puree
• 450 g – Chicken
• Juice of 1 Lemon
• 5 ml – Sugar
• 25 g – Sultanas
• Pinch of Salt
• 600 ml – Chicken stalk

Method:

  1. Put the oil, onion and garlic in a pan. Cover and cook until onion is soft.
  2. Blend in all the spices and flavourings. Heat it for 2 mins on high flame.
  3. Stir in the flour and tomato puree. Add all other ingredients including chicken.
  4. Blend in the hot stock. Cook for 20 mins on high flame or until meat is tender.
  5. Stir occasionally during cooking. Serve with boiled rice.
