Ingredients:

• Corn flour- 100 g
• Wheat flour 50 g
• Oil – 1 tbsp
• Water- 1/2 l

Method:

  1. Combine the maize and wheat flour, 1 tbsp of oil and salt in a bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough water.
  2. Knead till the dough is smooth and elastic.
  3. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and roll out each portion into a roti.
  4. Heat a griddle on a high flame and when hot, place the roti gently over it.
  5. Cook the roti till small blisters appear on the surface.
  6. Turn it over and cook for few more seconds.
