Ingredients:

• 100 gm – puffed lotus seeds (makhana), finely chopped
• 500 ml – Milk
• 2 tbsp. – Sugar
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 10 strands of Saffron

Method:

  1. Boil milk over a medium flame, add makhana, sugar, saffron and cardamom powder, and cook till it begins to boil. Reduce the flame, and cook for about 20 mins.
  2. Your kheer is ready to serve.
