
Ingredients:
• For the dough:
• 150 g – Wheat flour (atta)
• 50 g – Maida
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Ghee for frying the parathas
• For the filling:
• 200 g – fresh Cottage cheese (mashed)
• 1 – small Onion (chopped finely)
• 1 – Green chilli (chopped finely)
• 1/4 tsp – Ginger (chopped finely)
• 1/4 tsp – pepper powder
• 1 tbsp – Coriander leaves (chopped)
Method:
- Knead the ingredients for the dough using water.
- The dough should be smooth and pliable. Keep it for 15-20 minutes.
- Knead again and divide into 6 balls. Flatten and roll out into discs.
- Combine the ingredients for the filling and divide into three.
- Place half the filling on one disc. Cover with another disc and roll out again.
- Roll out other parathas with the remaining filling in a similar manner.
- Heat a griddle and fry the parathas, one at a time, with the help of ghee or oil.
- Serve hot with butter, pickle or curd.
