Ingredients:
• 1 litre – Milk
• 6 to 8 tbsp – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – Milk (room temperature)
• 3 to 4 tbsp – custard powder (vanilla flavour)
• 3 to 4 – alphonso mangoes (cut into small pieces)
Method:
- Boil the milk in a heavy bottomed vessel.
- Then let it simmer a while.
- Mix the custard powder in 1/2 cup of milk.
- Gradually add this to the boiling milk, stirring continuously with another hand to avoid any lumps.
- Add sugar and continue boiling it till the sugar dissolves completely. Let it cool.
- Add the mango pieces and refrigerate.
- Serve chilled.
