Ingredients:

• 1.5 cups – leftover green khichidi
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp each of cumin and Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1 stalk Curry leaves
• 2 Green chillies
• juice of 1/2 Lemon
• 1/2 tbsp – chopped coriander
• 1 pinch asafetida
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder and Turmeric
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil, break chillies into it in big pieces.
  2. Add urad dal, then add cumin and mustard seeds, curry leaves, chillies and asafoetida.
  3. Next add khichidi, lemon, chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
  4. Mix well and cook covered for 2 minutes.
  5. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
