Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – leftover green khichidi
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp each of cumin and Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1 stalk Curry leaves
• 2 Green chillies
• juice of 1/2 Lemon
• 1/2 tbsp – chopped coriander
• 1 pinch asafetida
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder and Turmeric
• salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil, break chillies into it in big pieces.
- Add urad dal, then add cumin and mustard seeds, curry leaves, chillies and asafoetida.
- Next add khichidi, lemon, chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
- Mix well and cook covered for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
