
Ingredients:
• 2.5 cups- Flour
• 15 tsp- Salt
• 1 tsp- Chilli powder
• 4 tsp- Castor Sugar
• 4 ground Chillies (optional)
• 1 tsp- Bicarbonate Of soda
• 1 tsp- Cumin crushed
• 5 tbsp- Vanaspati
• Water to mix
Method:
- Preheat oven to the required temperature. Sift together the flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt, sugar and the powders.
- Rub in vanaspati into the mixture.
- Add crushed cumin, ground chillies, water and make into a pliable dough.
- Roll out 1 cm thick, cut into desired shape and bake for 12-15 minutes, in the centre of the oven, brushing once with melted fat halfway through baking.
- Let cool on tray.
