Ingredients:

• 2 cups Peanuts shelled
• 1/4 cup Rice flour
• 1 tbsp. plain flour
• 2-3 pinches soda bicarb
• 1 tsp. Red Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp. chaat masala (optional)
• Oil to deep fry

Method:

  1. Make a very thick paste of all ingredients, except nuts and oil, using cold water. Now toss in peanuts and mix till they are evenly coated.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan, till smoky.
  3. Reduce heat, drop in coated nuts one by one quickly. Fry till crisp.
  4. Drain, cool and serve with tea, drinks, or whenever you feel the urge to munch something.
