Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Chicken (cut into pieces and washed)
• 1 spoon – Curd
• Curry leaves/coriander leaves
• For masala:
• 2 – big Onions
• 10 -12 Cloves – Garlic
• Ginger – a big piece
• 1 cup – Coconut
• 2-3 – Cloves
• 2-3 – Cinnamon
• 20 – pepper
• 2 spoon – Red Chilli powder
• 2 spoon – coriander
• Turmeric powder
• Salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Fry all the above ingredients for masala till light golden brown.
  2. After it is cooled grind in mixer with water.
  3. First mix chicken with salt and turmeric and curd and keep for an hour.
  4. After an hour keep a pan on gas, put oil and fry the ground masala for 2 mins.
  5. Add the chicken to the masala and fry till it mixes well.
  6. Pour little water mix well and check the salt etc.
  7. Then allow it to boil for 2 mins.
  8. Pressure cook for 5-10 mins on low flame.
  9. Garnish with coriander or curry leaves
