Ingredients:
• 1 cup – masoor (whole)
• 4 medium sized Potatoes
• 2 tsp – Green chillies (coarsely crushed)
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 4-5 tsp – breadcrumbs
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Fresh chopped coriander
Method:
- Cook the masoor till tender.
- Boil potatoes and mash them when hot.
- Mix the masoor, mashed potatoes, green chilli paste, ginger, garlic, salt, bread crumbs, garam masala powder, red chilli powder and fresh finely chopped coriander together and give them a tikki shape.
- Dust them with breadcrumbs and deep fry till golden brown.
- Serve with pudina chutney or tomato sauce.
