Ingredients:

• 1 cup – masoor (whole)
• 4 medium sized Potatoes
• 2 tsp – Green chillies (coarsely crushed)
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 4-5 tsp – breadcrumbs
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Fresh chopped coriander

Method:

  1. Cook the masoor till tender.
  2. Boil potatoes and mash them when hot.
  3. Mix the masoor, mashed potatoes, green chilli paste, ginger, garlic, salt, bread crumbs, garam masala powder, red chilli powder and fresh finely chopped coriander together and give them a tikki shape.
  4. Dust them with breadcrumbs and deep fry till golden brown.
  5. Serve with pudina chutney or tomato sauce.
