Ingredients:

• 2 cups – raw Rice
• 1.5 cups – grated Jaggery
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 2 tsp – grated coconut.

Method:

  1. Wash the rice and soak it for 10-15 mins
  2. Drain the water and spread the rice in a clean white cloth.
  3. Powder in a mixer and sieve the flour to a smooth flour.
  4. Mix the rice flour with the grated jaggery, cardamom powder and grated coconut
  5. Knead the dough and make small cup out of the dough and pour ghee in the space and put the wick.
  6. Now the mavilaku mavu is ready for pooja.
