Ingredients:

• 1 lb – low fat minced Meat (of your choice)
• 1 cup – bread crumbs
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 – Egg
• 1/4 tsp – Oregano
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• 1 cup – Onion Garlic flavored Tomato paste/ Pasta sauce
• 1/2 cup – grated cheese

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix up all the ingredients (except 1/3rd the sauce and all the cheese).
  3. Pat the mixture firmly into an 8 X 8 inch baking dish
  4. Bake on the medium shelf for 25 mins.
  5. Take it out, spoon the rest of the paste onto it, evenly, followed by an even layer of the cheese.
  6. Continue to bake on the top rack for 5-6 mins.
