Ingredients:

• 3 tbsp – Oats
• 1 cup – water
• 2 tbsp – plain or Garlic or Onion flavored Tomato paste
• 1/4 tsp each – salt, Turmeric powder, pepper powder and dried Parsley
• Sugar and red-chilli powder to taste
• Fresh chopped coriander/parsley leaves to garnish.

Method:

  1. Cook the oats in enough water for about 3 mins, then simmer and add the tomato paste.
  2. Stir well and add the salt, pepper, turmeric, pepper and parsley and simmer for 1 minute and then take off the flame.
  3. Add a pinch of red-chilli powder to spice it up a bit, along with 1/4 tsp sugar.
  4. Garnish with coriander. Serve
