
Ingredients:
• 1 bunch – Fenugreek leaves
• 1/2 cup – red gram dal
• 1 – Onion
• 1 – Tomato
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Lemon size – Tamarind
• 2 flakes (small) – Garlic
• 2 tbsp – grated/shredded Coconut
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1 tbsp – black gram dal
• small quantity – Curry leaves
• salt to taste
• oil for frying
Method:
- Wash and cut fenugreek leaves and keep it aside.
- Wash dal and keep it in pressure cooker along with green leaves, chopped onion, tomatoes, garlic, tamarind paste, green chillies, red chilli powder, grated coconut and little salt.
- Pour 1 cup of water and boil it for some 15 minutes. Smash it.
- Heat oil in a pan/kadai, splutter mustard seeds, black gram dal, curry leaves and add it to the boiled dal.
