
Ingredients:
• Mutton – 500 gms, cut into cubes
• Tomato – 250 gm, chopped
• Onions – 2 medium size
• Garlic – 4 flakes
• Ginger – 3 cms
• Red Chillies – 6 to 8
• Oil – 4 tbsp
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Fenugreek leaves – 2 bunches, chopped
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Grind onion, ginger and chillies to a paste.
- Heat oil in a pressure pan. Add the paste and fry well.
- Add mutton, turmeric, salt and 1/2 cup water.
- Pressure cook for 10 minutes.
- When the pressure drops, open the cooker and heat till most of the liquid is evaporated.
- Add fenugreek and fry for few minutes.
- Add tomato and cook for 5-8 mins more.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
