Ingredients:

• Mutton – 500 gms, cut into cubes
• Tomato – 250 gm, chopped
• Onions – 2 medium size
• Garlic – 4 flakes
• Ginger – 3 cms
• Red Chillies – 6 to 8
• Oil – 4 tbsp
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Fenugreek leaves – 2 bunches, chopped
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grind onion, ginger and chillies to a paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pressure pan. Add the paste and fry well.
  3. Add mutton, turmeric, salt and 1/2 cup water.
  4. Pressure cook for 10 minutes.
  5. When the pressure drops, open the cooker and heat till most of the liquid is evaporated.
  6. Add fenugreek and fry for few minutes.
  7. Add tomato and cook for 5-8 mins more.
  8. Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
