Ingredients:
• For Chicken
• 1.5 kg Chicken (Cut into 8 pieces)
• 1 cup – Thick Curd
• 3 tbsp – Ginger paste
• 3 tbsp – Garlic paste
• Salt to taste
• For Masala:
• 3 finely chopped Onions (medium size)
• 1 finely chopped Tomato (medium size)
• 4 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Dhania powder
• 1 tsp – Haldi powder
• 1 tsp – Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 2 tbsps – Kasuri Methi
• 4 tbsps – Sunflower oil
• For Garnishing:
• 4 tbsps – Chopped coriander
Method:
- For Chicken: In a big bowl, marinate the chicken in a mixture of curd, ginger paste, garlic paste and salt.
- Leave it for 1 hour.
- For Masala:
- In a microwave safe bowl, add oil and onions. Microwave on high (650W) for 13 mins, stirring every 5 mins, till golden brown.
- Add the other ingredients except kasoori methi and microwave on high (650W) for another 10 mins till the oil separates. Stir every 5 mins.
- Mix the marinated chicken and masala and microwave on high for 12 mins, stirring after every 5 mins.
- Add kasuri methi and reduce the power to medium (450W) and microwave for 2 to 3 mins.
- Serve hot, garnished with the coriander leaves.
