Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Wheat flour
• Small bunch – Fenugreek leaves
• 1 cup – Gramflour (Besan)
• 1 tbsp – Curd
• 3 flakes – Crushed Garlic
• 4-5 – Minced Green chillies
• A small piece of Ginger
• A pinch of asafetida
• A pinch of Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients along with enough water to form a thick batter.
  2. Heat a girdle. On a low heat, grease well with oil and pour one spoon of batter and spread to a round thin shape, just like a dosa.
  3. Pour a little oil around its edges and when the underside turns golden, turn over the puda.
  4. Remove from the girdle when both the sides turn golden.
  5. Serve with chutney, ketchup or onion chutney.
