Ingredients:
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp
• Palak – 2 cups, finely chopped
• Green chillies – 1 tsp, minced
• Ginger – 1 tsp, minced
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a small kadai.
- Add kasoori methi, stir briefly and add rest of the ingredients.
- Cook covered on a low heat till palak is soft.
- Open the lid and stir on high flame to evaporate any liquid given out by palak.
- Cool and add to idly batter.
- Pour in greased idly moulds and steam for 15 minutes. Serve hot with chutney.
