Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – whole Wheat flour
• 1 cup – besan
• 1 bunch – Fenugreek leaves, chopped
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 cup – Yoghurt
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Sieve the wheat and gram flours into a mixing bowl.
- Make a well in the centre and add all the ingredients except oil.
- Mix well and add water as needed and knead it into a stiff dough.
- Cover with a moist cloth and set aside for 15 minutes.
- Knead the dough again and divide into walnut sized portions. Roll each one out into small rotis/ chapattis.
- Heat a non-stick griddle and once well-heated, reduce flame to minimum.
- Place a thepla on shallow fry both sides. Smear ghee, and serve.
