Ingredients:

• 400 g – Paneer (cut into rectangle shape)
• 1 cup – thick dahi/curd
• 2 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1.5 tbsp – Corn flour
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 tbsp – tandoori masala or 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – chat masala
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp – kasoori Methi
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• Some chaat masala to sprinkle

Method:

  1. Beat the dahi till smooth.
  2. Add all ingredients except paneer to the dahi and mix.
  3. Then add paneer cubes to the dahi.
  4. Marinate till serving time.
  5. At serving time, grease the tawa (if provided with the microwave) or a micro-safe bowl and place the paneer pieces on it.
  6. Place the tawa in the microwave oven and grill for 8 mins. Turn over once in between.
  7. If the tikkas are not golden brown, grill for 1-2 mins more.
  8. Sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot.
