
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp – black pepper
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 8 – Red Chilli
• 2 tsp – Coriander seeds
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• 4 tsp – Tamarind pulp
• 1 cup – Curry leaves
• a pinch – hing/asafetida
• salt to taste
Method:
- Fry pepper, red chilli, coriander seeds, channa dal, urad dal in a tsp of oil. Allow to cool.
- Add tamarind pulp, curry leaves, salt and hing. Grind all together in a mixer.
- Add three cups of water and boil for 15 mins.
- Serve with rice.
