Ingredients:

• 1 – tamarind, Lemon size (small)
• 1 – Tomato
• To grind:
• 2 tsp – tur dal
• 1 tsp – pepper
• 1 tsp – cumin
• 2 – Red Chillies
• Curry leaves – a few

Method:

  1. Boil tamarind extract with salt and turmeric in 2-3 cups of water for 10 minutes.
  2. Grind the ingredients in the mixer without frying.
  3. Add tomatoes to the tamarind water.
  4. Add the ground powder and boil it on slow flame for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Temper with mustard seeds in ghee.
