
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – green gram (moong) dal (without peel)
• 1/2 cup – sour green mango, chopped finely (do not peel)
• 1/2 cup – carrot, chopped finely
• 1/2 cup – grated Coconut
• 1/2 cup – coriander leaves, chopped
• 2 – green chillies, chopped
• salt to taste
• For Seasoning:
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Asafoetida powder
• A few Curry leaves
Method:
- Soak the moong dal in water for one hour.
- Drain and mix with mango, carrot, green chillies, salt, and coriander leaves and grated coconut.
- Heat oil for seasoning in a small fry pan. Add mustard seeds.
- When they splutter, add asafoetida and curry leaves.
- Add the seasoning to the kosumbari and mix well.
