Ingredients:
• 3 cups – moong dal
• 3 cups – sugar, ground
• 2.5 cups – Ghee
• A little Saffron and crushed dry fruits
• 6 green cardamoms, powdered
Method:
- Soak dal overnight and grind it coarsely.
- Heat the ghee and brown the dal till golden in colour. Keep stirring.
- Add the ground sugar to the dal. Add the crushed cardamoms and saffron dissolved in a little milk and finely crushed dry fruits. Wait till it cools.
- Add the remaining ghee in the dal and form into ladoos.
