Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Mushrooms (chopped)
• 3 – Whole Wheat slices (cubed)
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 1 cup – Milk
• 1/2 cup – Low fat Cream
• Water (as per need)
• Salt
• Pepper powder
• 1 tbsp – Kasuri Methi
• Olive oil

Method:

  1. Heat olive oil and saute the chopped onions until they turn translucent.
  2. Immediately add the chopped mushrooms.
  3. Saute for a few minutes.
  4. Add the milk, cream, salt, pepper powder and cook everything on a low flame until the mushrooms get cooked.
  5. Finally, add the cubed bread slices, kasuri methi and water.
  6. Bring to boil and turn off the stove.
  7. Blend the soup in to a coarse paste and serve hot.
