Ingredients:

• 250 g – horse gram( choliya)
• 250g – minced Mushroom
• 2 tsp – chopped Garlic
• 1/2 cup – chopped Onion
• 2 cup – chopped Tomatoes
• 2 tsp – chopped Green chilli
• 1 tsp – grated Ginger
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• salt to taste
• 2 tsp – Butter
• 4 tsp – Olive oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic, onion, ginger.
  2. Saute for a minute ( let it remain kacha paka or partially cooked ).
  3. Add all spices and salt, stir and add chilli and tomatoes.
  4. To this add washed horse gram and stir, cover the lid till horse gram are cooked( stir frequently).
  5. Now add mushrooms and open the lid.
  6. Mushroom will leave water so stir repeatedly till the water evaporates and the oil comes out.
  7. Garnish with coriander and butter.
  8. Serve with naan or rice.
