Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – button mushrooms, chopped
• 1 cup – minced soya granules, cooked
• 2 – onions, large and chopped finely
• 1/2 cup – Tomato pulp or chopped Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 – green chillies, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• Few – chopped Coriander leaves
• 1/2 tsp – fennel seeds, crushed
• To taste – salt
• As required – oil

Method:

  1. Heat enough oil in a pan and fry the crushed fennel seeds.
  2. Add the chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped green chillies and ginger garlic paste. Saute until the raw smell goes away.
  3. Add the chopped mushrooms, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and coriander powder. Saute until the vegetables shrink a bit.
  4. Add the minced soya granules and cook everything in simmer, until the masala turns thick.
  5. Finally, add the chopped coriander leaves and put off the stove.
  6. Serve hot, as side dish, with rotis or idlis and dosas.
