
Ingredients:
• 200 g – dry Anchovy (nettili)
• 5 tsp – grated Coconut
• 5 – Red Chillies
• 1 – Garlic pod
• 1 tsp – oil
• Curry leaves, a few
• Coriander leaves, a few
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Wash dry fish, strain dry and keep aside.
- Make sure that there are no sand particles on it.
- Heat wok, add oil, fry dry fish, remove and keep aside.
- In the remaining oil, fry the garlic pod, red chillies, grated coconut, curry leaves and coriander leaves till brown.
- Add everything along with salt and blend coarsely.
- Do not add water, it should be absolutely dry and coarse.
- Sprinkle in steamed rice or eat as side dish with steamed rice or chapatti.
