Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – thoor dal
• 1/2 – fresh Coconut
• 10 -12 – Green chillies
• 1 pinch – Hing
• salt
Method:
- Soak tuvar dal for two hours.
- Grind it coarsely.
- Sprinkle little water on tuvar dal and steam cook the ground tuvar dal in a pressure cooker for 15 mins.
- Add chopped green chillies, salt, shredded coconut and hing to the steam cooked dal. Mix it well.
- Make small balls, arrange them in idli stand or cooker container and steam them for 10-12 mins.
- You can serve this nucchina unde with moor kolambu or chutney.
- This will be perfect for evening snack.
