
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – granulated Sugar
• 1 cup – water
• 2 tsp – Mix fruit jam
• 1 cup – toasted nuts, coarsely chopped
• Pinch of salt
Method:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Place sugar, water, and jam in a medium saucepan and stir to combine.
- Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, without stirring, until mixture starts to brown.
- Gently swirl the pan until the mixture is an even, deep amber colour.
- Immediately remove from heat and quickly stir in nuts and salt.
- Pour immediately on to the prepared baking sheet, spread in an even layer, and let it cool.
- Once cool, break into small pieces and serve.
