Ingredients:

• 2 cups – granulated Sugar
• 1 cup – water
• 2 tsp – Mix fruit jam
• 1 cup – toasted nuts, coarsely chopped
• Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place sugar, water, and jam in a medium saucepan and stir to combine.
  3. Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, without stirring, until mixture starts to brown.
  4. Gently swirl the pan until the mixture is an even, deep amber colour.
  5. Immediately remove from heat and quickly stir in nuts and salt.
  6. Pour immediately on to the prepared baking sheet, spread in an even layer, and let it cool.
  7. Once cool, break into small pieces and serve.
