
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – Oats
• 6-10 flakes – Garlic
• 2-3 tbsp – carrot, chopped
• 3 tbsp – tomato, chopped
• 1 – green chilli, chopped
• 1/4 tsp – fennel (optional) crush slightly
• 2 tbsp – coriander leaves, chopped
• Salt to taste
• 1/4 cup – coconut, grated
Method:
- Pressure cook everything with enough water (to cover the oats), except coconut for up to 2 whistles.
- Open the cooker and mash contents well with a masher.
- Extract milk from the coconut by grinding it with lukewarm water and squeezing out the milk.
- Add the extracted milk to the porridge and mix well.
- Heat through and serve hot.
