Ingredients:

• 1 – medium-sized fowl, jointed and cut into medium-sized pieces (preferably country chicken)
• 2 tbsp – Vinegar
• 3 tsp – chopped Garlic
• 3 – onions, sliced
• 1 – tomato, chopped
• salt to taste
• 3 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – coriander powder
• 2 small sticks – Cinnamon
• 3 Cloves
• 1 – Bay Leaf
• 2 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients for about an hour in a pan.
  2. Place the pan on high heat and cook for about 3-4 mins, mixing well.
  3. Lower the heat and add 2 glasses of water.
  4. Mix well and simmer for 45 mins until the fowl is cooked and the gravy is thick.
