
Ingredients:
• Onion – 2, chopped
• Dry Red Chillies – 4
• Coconut powder – 1 tbps
• Salt to taste
• Oil
• For seasoning:
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tbps
• Curry leaves for garnishing
Method:
- In a pan, heat oil and saute onion till pink.
- Remove from pan and keep aside.
- In the same pan, fry red chillies.
- Grind onion, red chillies, coconut powder and salt, adding little water to make a paste.
- Remove into a bowl.
- In little oil, fry mustard seeds and curry leaves and add that to the chutney.
- Serve with idli or dosas.
