Ingredients:

• 3 – Bitter gourd
• 3 – medium-sized Onions
• 5 – Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – cumin
• Salt to taste
• 4 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Cut bitter gourd into two. Make two slits on each side.
  2. Saute them in 2 tsp oil and cook covered with a lid on low flame.
  3. Meanwhile grind onion, red chilli, cumin and salt to a coarse paste.
  4. Stuff this onion paste in the sauteed bitter gourd and saute on low flame again till done.
  5. Serve with steamed hot rice or warm chapattis.
