
Ingredients:
• Orange peel – 1 cup
• Tamarind 4 cm ball
• Red Chillies 8 to 10
• mustard – 2 tsp
• black gram dal – 2 tsp
• Asafoetida a small piece
• oil – 1 tsp
• salt to taste
Method:
- Take orange part of peel (discard the white part) and cut into pieces.
- Boil water, add the peel, give one boil and remove from fire. Drain.
- Roast red chillies, mustard, dal and asafetida with 1 tsp of oil.
- Grind them with tamarind.
- Add peel and grind.
- Add salt to taste.
- Serve as a dip or chutney.
