
Ingredients:
• 7 – pakoda
• 1 – Onion
• 2 – Tomatoes
• small quantity – Ginger
• 3 flakes – Garlic
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1/2 cup – grated/Shredded Coconut
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• small quantity – Curry leaves
• small quantity – Coriander leaves
• 2 – Cashew nuts
• 1 tsp – red chili powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – Poppy Seeds
• 1 tbsp – Cumin seeds
• salt to taste
• oil for frying
Method:
- Make pakodas.
- Cut onions and smash tomatoes in a mixie.
- Make ginger-garlic paste after peeling off the skin.
- Grind grated coconut, poppy seeds, green chillies, cumin seeds, cashew nuts and make them into a paste.
- Heat oil in a pan/kadai, add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste and onions and fry them well.
- Add tomatoes which are smashed, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, little salt and curry leaves and boil them for some 3 minutes.
- Add coconut paste.
- Finally add pakodas and garnish with coriander leaves.
