Ingredients:
• Maida – 1.25 cups
• Egg – 1
• Milk – 1 cup
• Oil – 1 tbsp
• Sugar – 2 tbsp
• Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Beat the egg thoroughly.
- Add maida, milk, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Mix well to prepare the batter.
- Do not over beat the batter, without lumps, the pancakes won’t be fluffy.
- Put a pan on medium to low heat.
- Add a little oil with a spoon or a sprayer.
- With a big spoon, drop the batter into the centre of the pan.
- Make sure the pancake is about 1/4 inch in width.
- Cook the pancake golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with honey, butter or margarine.
