
Ingredients:
• 200 g – Paneer
• 50 g – gram flour
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 pinch – soda bicarbonate
• Salt
• For chutney:
• 1/2 cup – coconuts, grated
• 6 flakes – Garlic
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1/2 inch piece – Ginger
• A handful of Mint leaves
• 1 cup – Coriander leaves
• A handful of Curry leaves
• 1 – onion, big
• 1 tbsp – Lime juice
• Salt
• Chilli powder
Method:
- Grind all the chutney ingredients together.
- Mix flour with turmeric powder, soda, cumin seeds and salt.
- Add enough water to form a thick batter.
- Cut paneer lengthwise into two pieces. Then into small squares.
- Sandwich two squares together with chutney.
- Dip the chutney filled squares in the batter and deep fry to a golden colour.
- Serve with ketchup.
