Ingredients:

• Raw papaya – 500 g
• Mustard Seed – 2 tsp
• Red Chillies – 4
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Sugar – 2 tsp
• Oil – 2 tsp.

Method:

  1. Wash and grate the papaya.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard and add red chillies.
  3. Now add the grated papaya, salt and turmeric powder into it.
  4. Fry it in a high flame for 5 minutes, and then cover and cook for 5 minutes in a low flame.
  5. Add sugar and mix well.
  6. Serve hot.
