
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Pumpkin (cubed)
• 2 – Red Chillies (broken)
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• A few – Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – grated Coconut
• Salt to taste
• 2 tsp – oil
Method:
- Chop the pumpkin into bite sized cubes after removing the skin.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard.
- Add chillies and urad dal, fry till urad dal turns golden brown.
- Switch off and then add curry leaves and coconut. Transfer to a bowl.
- In the same pan, add chopped pumpkin. Add enough water and salt and cook till soft.
- Now add the seasoning over the cooked pumpkin. Combine the contents well.
- Serve with sambar sadam, rasam sadam or curd rice.
