Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup – toovar dal.
• 1/4 cup – urad dal.
• 1/2 cup – Channa dal.
• 1 tbsp – grated coconut.
• 3-4 – green chillies.
• 2 – red chilli.
• 1 – pinch hing.
• 4-5 – curry leaves.
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder.
• 1/4 tsp – garam masala.
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice.
• 1 – Garlic cloves.
• 3 tbsp – chopped coriander leaves.
• salt as per taste.
• oil for deep frying.
Method:
- Wash and soak all dals for 3 hours. Grind them into a fine paste with green chillies, red chillies, curry leaves and garlic.
- Then add all the remaining ingredients except oil for deep frying.
- Make small vadas of the mixture and flatten it slightly.
- Deep fry the vadas till they turn golden brown.
- Serve hot.
