
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – green peas.
• 3 to 4 – medium onions, finely chopped.
• 2 tsp – oil.
• 1 tsp – chilli powder.
• A pinch – Turmeric powder.
• salt to taste.
• half a bunch – pudina or Mint leaves, finely chopped.
Method:
- Boil peas in a pressure cooker till it is cooked.
- Heat oil and add the peas. Fry the peas for a minute.
- Then add the chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
- Take it out of the pan.
- To serve: on a chapatti, spread a layer peas masala.
- Then add the finely chopped onions and mint leaves on top of that.
- Roll it up in the chapatti and enjoy.
- The onions and pudina combination is what gives it an unique and delicious taste.
- You may even add chopped tomatoes or a pinch of chaat masala to it.
