Ingredients:

• Peerkankai (ridge gourd) – 2 (medium size).
• Tamarind – 1/2 tsp.
• Green chillies – 8 to 10.
• Coconut – 3 tsps.
• oil – 2 tsps.

Method:

  1. Remove the outer skin of peerkankai. Cut into small pieces and fry in a kadai with a little oil until cooked.
  2. Put the peerkankai, tamarind, coconut and chillies in mixie and grind finely.
  3. Add required amount of salt now.
  4. Add a little heated oil before serving with hot rice or roti.
