Ingredients:
• French beans – 250 g
• Onion (big) – 1
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• A little oil
Method:
- Wash and string the beans. Slit each of them into half along the dividing line.
- Then chop both halves into 1.5 inch pieces.
- Slice the onions lengthwise.
- In a pan, add some oil and fry the onions.
- Then add the beans, salt and pepper and fry for a while.
- Sprinkle some water, cover, simmer the flame and cook till done.
- Serve hot with rice and dal.
