
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – besan
• 1 – green chilli, finely chopped
• 2 tbsp – carrots, shredded
• 1 tbsp – beans, shredded
• 2 tbsp – tomato, chopped
• 1 bunch – coriander leaves, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – carom seeds (ajwain)
• 1 tsp – black pepper (kali mirch) powder
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – chaat masala
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• Salt to taste
• 1.5 cups – water to make a smooth batter
• Oil for cooking
Method:
- Put all the ingredients except water in a big bowl.
- Now start adding small quantities of water to make a smooth batter, so that there are no lumps.
- Add water till it becomes like dosa batter. Set aside.
- Heat a non-stick- tawa or frying pan on a medium flame.
- Pour a little oil on tawa and spread a ladleful of batter evenly on it.
- Cover with lid just for a minute.
- Then remove lid, drizzle some oil on the top and turn it upside down.
- Let it brown and crispen on both sides.
- Repeat the same with rest of the batter.
- Serve hot with any chutney or sauce.
