Ingredients:

• 2 cups – besan
• 1 – green chilli, finely chopped
• 2 tbsp – carrots, shredded
• 1 tbsp – beans, shredded
• 2 tbsp – tomato, chopped
• 1 bunch – coriander leaves, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – carom seeds (ajwain)
• 1 tsp – black pepper (kali mirch) powder
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – chaat masala
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• Salt to taste
• 1.5 cups – water to make a smooth batter
• Oil for cooking

Method:

  1. Put all the ingredients except water in a big bowl.
  2. Now start adding small quantities of water to make a smooth batter, so that there are no lumps.
  3. Add water till it becomes like dosa batter. Set aside.
  4. Heat a non-stick- tawa or frying pan on a medium flame.
  5. Pour a little oil on tawa and spread a ladleful of batter evenly on it.
  6. Cover with lid just for a minute.
  7. Then remove lid, drizzle some oil on the top and turn it upside down.
  8. Let it brown and crispen on both sides.
  9. Repeat the same with rest of the batter.
  10. Serve hot with any chutney or sauce.
