Ingredients:
• 1 cup – rava (sooji)
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 1.5 cups – water
• 1tbsp – Ghee (clarified butter)
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1/4 tsp – Saffron / kesari
• 2 tbsp – Raisins chopped
• 1 tbsp – chopped cashews
Method:
- Heat ghee in a pan, add raisins, fry and then keep aside.
- In the remaining ghee, add water, milk, sugar, saffron/ kesari and cardamom powder to a vessel and bring it to a boil.
- Add the roasted rava little by little to the water stirring continuously.
- Garnish kesari bath with raisins and cashews.
- Serve hot.
