Ingredients:
• Methi – 1/2 kg
• Onion – 2
• Garlic pods – 4
• Green chilli – 1
• Red Chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Oil/Ghee
• Mustard – 1 tsp
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp –
• A pinch of Hing
• 4 cups – cooked Rice
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and season with mustard, jeera, fenugreek and hing.
- When mustard splutters, add finely chopped garlic, onion and green chilli.
- Add finely chopped methi and fry till done.
- Add salt, red chilli powder and saute for a minute.
- Blend this with steamed rice and serve with pappad.
