Ingredients:

• 2 cups – moong dal
• 2 cups – Rice
• 2 inch – Ginger
• 4 – chillies
• salt to taste
• oil

Method:

  1. Wash the dal and rice in water for 3-4 hours.
  2. Drain the water and grind it both together in a mixer.
  3. Grind the chillies and ginger.
  4. Add this to the dal paste and mix it well.
  5. Keep it in a hot place for about 7-8 hours and allow it to ferment.
  6. Mix it vigorously and prepare dosas on a non-stick tawa.
  7. Serve it with chutney and hot sambar.
