Ingredients:
• 8 – Large, square thick bread slices
• 6 .5″ thick x 2 -3 ” long – Sausages
• 1/2 cup – Ketchup
• 8 – Cheese single slices
• 1 – Egg, beaten
• 2 cups – Bread crumbs
• Oil to deep-fry
Method:
- Remove the edges from the bread slices.
- Prepare each slice separately.
- Slowly immerse a slice in water and squeeze out the water between the palms.
- Place it on a flat surface.
- Add 1 tsp sauce on it.
- Place 1 cheese slice on it.
- Now add a sausage on the centre of the slice.
- Roll the bread over the sausage.
- Gently press and seal the bread at the ends to form a roll.
- Place the rolls in the fridge and set for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil to deep fry.
- Now dip the rolls in the beaten egg, and then the bread crumbs.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Serve with sauce.
