
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – parboiled Rice
• 1/4 cup – Beaten Rice
• 1-2 cups – sour Butter milk
• 1/4 tsp – cooking soda
• oil
• salt
Method:
- Soak washed rice and aval together in buttermilk overnight.
- Grind to a smooth batter, a little thinner than the regular idly dosa batter.
- Add salt and cooking soda and mix well.
- Heat a tawa and pour a ladle full of batter and drizzle oil; don’t spread the batter.
- Cook covered over a medium flame for a minute.
- Serve with a spicy chutney or sambhar.
